Manila Dreams.

At laaast, after maybe 5 months or so we finally reached Manila! Pop went to his office to get his papers for his flight this Tuesday (siiigh he's off again to Aberdeen and London sighh we will miss you for 4 months dad) so we went with him too to buy some school things and other stuff that we can afford with our earned money. First stop was Shell of Asia for our breakfast!

I was not that hungry for breakfast that time so I ordered a Frap. I AM IN LOVE WITH STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM OKAY DON'T JUDGE ME. Been to NLEX a lot of times and just last Friday, saw the SB branch with a drive-thru. CRAAAZZZY.

At Chowking with my silly brother making silly faces.

After an hour (dad is a fast driver btw) we then reached Greenhills! During our drive, DLSU GH caught my eye and it is a classy school. GH is a big place too bad we're running out of time did not saw Promenade just Tiangge only :(( After Greenhills we went to Glorietta and my brother looked for his toy while I looked for awesome toys I will buy when I had an extra money.

I am so excited for Monsters University movie! Are you too?

Just look at that Superman minion, so fancy!

Just look at these minions! Aren't they cute? Also excited for Despicable Me 2! These little things are so cheap but did not bought one since I told myself: "I think I am too old for this" (or am I?).

Next mall was Landmark (bad dept store) and SM Makati where I visited F21. It is my go to store whenever we visit Manila. And here are my picks during my visit and cam-whored.

London is probably a country I really really want to visit. I'll love everything about it, the perfect places to go on, the food and not to mention, the british accent! It's a must-have sweatshirt, but mom thinks I can't use this on Pangasinan since it's too hot.

I dig aztec prints so I picked this one. And yet again did not bought this since climate here in our place.

Four words: I rocked this polo! (yay bought this for 1k something which is a great price!!!)

THIS PRINT OHGaD. Mom bought this for me yay

Since I bought clothes, mom searched something for herself too and my brother and I well, we're being just the way we are.

Before we head on to our home, I need some comfort food, a bread, from the bread that literally talks for itself (wtf Nico), Breadtalk!

Honestly, this pic made me hungry.

Manila is a long drive but a worthy trip. I've always dreamed of living there, the concerts, the shops, the close malls, the quality education and a normal weather (or not). Hope I can visit this place everyday since it's like the New York City of the Philippines. I had fun with my parents and laughed all the way home.

And before I forget, Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there! Specially you Mom, you the best. Stay strong and beautiful as always! Thanks for all the struggles you made for us. We love you!

Colorful Summer.

It's style post again! I had the guts to buy a colored chino pants and wore them on public. At first Dad won't approve because of a girly color, but he then changed his mind, don't know why! Slim fit pants are my type and suits me right. Just the perfect fit. One day, I tried on fitting fitted pants at a local store and when it came to my thigh part, the pants won't fit, such a great thing!

I call this the "hawak sa puno" pose!

This one is fun, posing on a chopped tree when during that day the movie, "The Lorax" was being filmed!

What i'm wearing: Shirt (Artwork), Chinos (Oxygen), Socks (Oxygen), Shoes (Keds), Bracelet (from Pagudpud)

lol at my B&W shoot.

Pictures taken last NYES Camp, Baguio City, Teacher's Camp! Credits from Joanna Talvo and Wilbern Paeste (Hope you guys are reading this tho)!

Summer Camps.

Would you believe I am the elected school president of the Science Club? Well, you should  and perks of being an officer is traveling from north to south and attending Science School Camps! It's a really fun experience going to the Regional Youth of Environment School Camp (RYES) and to National Youth Environment School Camps (NYES). RYES was at Ilocos Norte, Burgos (March 31 to April 5), and NYES held at Baguio City (April 9-12). It does seem that I look like a badass because I traveled north to south in two weeks span and wasted a big money on this trip. This is a camp I won't ever forget and will forever cherish. Photo spam below!

 Regional YES Camp

Here's a picture of me doing our YES-O Exhibit.

And yes, I did joined Mr. Lakan 2013. I'm so tough and so brave to join this kind of contest. (First pic was me on blue scarf)

Got elected as Division Representative of ROSCA!

And this my friends is our campsite. I miss this. I miss everything on here.

Then last day came, and I was not included on the photo, long story.

National YES Camp

The only picture I would show you. This collage shows how happy I am. Out of the 1534 picture taken during the 4-day event, this 6 six picture for me are the best!

Yup yup. Did joined Mr. Lakan again! Such a great opportunity for me.

The Norte Experience.

Last November 29 - December 1, we went to a Regional Leadership Training at Ilocos Norte. It was a fun experience but unflattering food. We even asked to bath at a Principal's house! (five of us really want to take a bath already but there's too much people on a lot of bathrooms there, so we ended up looking for a house to take a bath in and ended up in a nice looking apartment! They were so nice they let us in without knowing it's the house of the school's principal! Crazy I know!)

The training's location is too far plus ultra hot which caused me to have a major headache + slight fever + runny nose and irritating cough! Cool eh? Sickness on training! What could be more fun? I have this thing whenever we go out for a trip. I get headaches mostly and some fever, good thing my mom always packed me up with meds. Plus I've got awesome friends who accompanied me during my pain! Thanks a lot guys, you really showed me your true and good 'ol colors throughout my sickness.

Anyway, so with the training, I have learned a lot. But I simply laid my ears and eyes on this guest speaker, who is a barangay captain. She should have been more than that of her career. I mean, she graduated in Miriam Colleges! She's mega smart! She is the only speaker who made my ears enlighten, in fact, I would want to share to you some things she had said.

A lot said that "Heroes are born not made" but I say, "Heroes are not born but made". After I all this time, I believed in the first quote but since she told me that WE are made, my perception has changed. She even told us that "A leader must not be brilliant, you should have the heart  and courage and would even make researches on becoming a good leader" Which is very true again! Another one is, "A leader must expect the expectations on him" Yep, being a leader you should accept the expectations people want from you. You should exert a lot more effort on this path.

There's  this one quote which her speech a lot better, "Life is like a production number, you have to play the role and you don't have to be the bida or kontrabida at all times." This is the line that I will cherish everyday. It's an awesome quote I know.

Despite the learnings, I also had fun with my classmates, schoolmates and teachers!

Group picture with the whole Dalton! it's the group picture wherein we're complete!

During one nights of our stay, we we're doing this silly thing where you go round and round and experience a dizzy feeling and fall down and I did it too!

Silly me! HAHA.

In our three days stay, we went three days to robinsons too! Yes, we're cool like that ditchin' the seminar just to hang out. And just a few walks from rob is Mcdo!

We have to take a break from the icky food from the school you know! Random awesome pic of me in Mcdo!

On our second night and (probably the last night) was fun! There were awesome performances and a pageant being joined by the 13 divisions. One performance I was really in awe is the chorale group. Man, their singing skills are to crave and to hear for! I mean, they joined international competitions! And that's a really beyond awesome!

In the pageant, there's this pretty gal I eye on! She's too pretty (and seems nice) for me! She's from Calasiao  Division by the way.

Dalton are cam whores.

Afterall, the trip was super fun! On our last day, we went to Baluarte and Vigan for a pit stop. There's no picture I can show since the camera is dead. Literally dead joke.

Sunday is Mall day!

Woo! Mom and dad finally agreed of us going to Marq-wait-for-it-marquee mall! Marquee is like the best mall we could go on! It's like to big (bigger than SMR) plus has a lot of cool stores you can't find in other stores! Plus the two-hour drive is worth it rather than going to Manila with four-hour drive. (And yes, by Sunday, I meant, November 3, late post I know!)

Anyway, so here's how our day went. Asked my mom and dad to finally buy me some awesome kicks. I've been choosing these two shoes, (they're sperry and they are my first choice).

But things change then bought Keds instead. No regrets on buying this, since they're comfy (but sperry is comfy too) huhuhu, the next time I buy some shoes then it's sperry right away! Thanks for the kicks mom, dad!

Then went to Fully Booked! The awesome-est book store in town! Then window-booked-shopping. Huuu. I really want to buy Wonder by AJ Palacio but it's freaking 640 and hardbound! So waiting for the paperback! Hope it comes too soon.

After the depressing window-book-shopping me with me fambam went eating to Army Navy and ate for some greasy burger! It's my first time eating on this kind of resto and the vibe is just plain awesome with it's army boat room structure. Man, those times, eating that big burger. OHHHHH ~

Then before we go home, I will not forget on dropping by on Bread Talk! Those Blueberry cheesecakes, that oh-so-yummy breads. Cheese, cream and anything sweets came in my mouth at eating this breads!

It's such an amazing sunday with my family. Hope we can go on another trip like this. But but but dad's going back to London this 13th. I'll miss him so much.

Au revoir!
